Gravity Falls is one of my all-time favorite cartoons. After Avatar the Last Airbender ended, I was in a cartoon coma, nothing seemed to have a quality story or art. Nothing I could find at least. Then a friend of a friend told me to check out Gravity Falls. I was pretty skeptical at first, but after the first episode, I was hooked. I loved the epic summer adventure theme, the weird things roaming the woods, and the way everything that happened from episode to episode was interconnected. But what really sold me was the art. I liked the attention to detail in the backgrounds from the items in the Mystery Shack's shop to the old 70's lamp in Stan's living room. They were just small things, but they added so much to the atmosphere of the town when the artists could've just drawn generic stuff like most other shows. But I ADORED the most were the color choices. I was in love with those sunsets, the stormy nights, and the mountains. Every scene had a specific mood and ...
