I designed this space with Katherine Carvosso in mind (she's one of the main characters in my book
Daniel Haley and the Immortal Ninja) Seeing that her superpowers involve manipulating rocks and earth I figured one of her hobbies would be growing little crystals and gems for fun. Of course, she'd also have some plants in her room and pictures of nature. And some crazy math problem on the board because she's crazy and finds math entertaining.
